Automated Music Composition (AMC) can generate chords and a backing track (e.g. bass line) from an Audio (WAV) or MIDI input melody. It uses WaoN for Audio to Midi conversion but with new sophisticated BPM detection. It also has reliable key detection.
AMC was a final year project at Imperial College London by Phil Carmalt. It is written in C++ using MFC. AMC is covered by the GNU General Public License (GPL).
